bought a juicer a few months back and must say i do love it! i'm not great for eating veg so i do get a few portions in most mornings which is great! usually i'd throw 3 carrots, 3 apples, cumcumber and another few bits of fruit or veg in and get enough for a big glass of juice. i'm just wondering is there too much sugar in this??? i sometimes throw in a bit of protein shake to mix it up (and coz i heard that protein can stop a sugar spike occuring). so would love to hear the opinions of those in the know!
    cheers!

is it the sugar content you're worried about, or it's affect on your blood sugars themselves? if the latter, have a few nuts or another source of protein to balance out your bloody sugars..

also, the fact that youre having it in the morning is better than having it during the day/in the evening- at least you'll burn the sugars off.. and it's a great way to get some of your 5 a day.. although, you're missing a lot of the fibre that you get from actually eating the fruit/veg when you juice it. On balance though, I wouldnt overly stress about it if i were you.
