Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Iv noticed when i open firefox for the first time, its fine.

Say i visit google.com. Then i go up to the address bar and type boards.ie or whatever, nothing will happen.

It doesnt even attempt to contact the site, just nothing happens.

Same thing happens in a new tab.

Same thing happens on youtube. I can search and play a video, but if i search another nothing happens.

Theres no timeout errors or anything.

Tryed reinstalling firefox but still the same.

Windows xp sp3, no anti virus software running.

System clean as i run scans regulary

Hi Nuxxx .This does not seem like a security issue so I've move to Computers & Technology for you. You should get better help here.

Have you tried to do the same process thru IE8?
If the problem is replicated, its your computer, if it not, its a fault with firefox.
If so, backup your bookmarks, uninstall Firefox, download thru IE8 a fresh copy (or/and try out Safari 5 too?) of Firefox and see will that sort your problem.

As a precaution, if you uninstall firefox - reboot - and then install again.
(Its to clear out the RAM)

You could also try loading Google Chrome and see what happens with that.
