Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know this is a constant topic and some bad experiences have been mentioned re bringing bikes on public transport, but just wondering if anyone has more recent experience of bringing a bike bag on a Dublin Bus.

Brought our bikes to and from Dublin airport last month on the bus. Two of us with these bags. They fit in the little luggage slot perfectly, another 3 inches and they'd have been too big. As far as I know the airport busses have extra capacity for luggage, so the situation on a normal bus might be different.

I used the same bag and got on both the 11 and the Aircoach no problems. I get the impression if the bus was near full though he would have said no, purely because of space taken up.

[OT]Saw a scobe on the LUAS yesterday who'd managed to get his bike on in the midst of the post Croker throngs. No problems getting the bike on/off.

The open can of Dutch Gold in the bottle cage was definintely not euro compliant though[/OT]

Was looking at buying this. Thought the CRC one looks like better value

Just update on this. Two buses home tonight with the CRC bag. First driver didn't even seem to notice. Next bus was one of the older ones so asked driver if it was ok. "Yeah, it should fit on the rack at the back" and off we went. Gotta say I'm very pleased.
