The FORAS Cup will take place on Saturday August 7th at LeisureWorld Churchfield, the group stages will begin at 10 am at The Sam Allen Pitches. The tournament will be hosted on all eight of their recently refurbished playing pitches that now include state of the art synthetic surfaces – not the sand based substance of previous. Each team will play a minimum of three games in the group stage, before the excitement of the knockout stages. The competition will be 5-a-side, however a squad of up to 9 players may be entered and the entry fee is just €90, with teams competing for a prize pool of €500!

This is the third year the tournament has been run. This year the tournament is sponsored by Cork City FC’s official Kit Supplier Partner hummel, who were only too delighted to lend further support to the club by way of supply of balls and other equipment for the tournament which offers a €500 prize pool to winning teams.
