Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Irish players abroad?

    With talk of McGeady going to Russia and Cillian Sherridan going to Sofia i was just wondering is there many irish playing in Europe or further away.

    I know Ian Daly is playing in Greece, and i know there is another lad in Holland, can't remember his name though.

    Is there many others though?

    Who's in Holland? I know your man Barry Maguire is playing for Utrecht but he has declared for the Dutch...

    Yes born and raised over there, Irish father though, he has said that he would be honoured to play for Ireland if he got the chance, maybe if he doesn't make it to the senior team he will end up with Ireland.

    hopefully, being Dutch makes him automatically good at football :D

    yes he did reject an invite, but i presume thats because he was still involved in the Netherlands u21's. I would suspect if he doesn't make it into the Netherlands senior squad he would listen to an offer from Ireland.
