Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Printing photos for odd frames

Does anyone have any tips on how to crop and print photos that are not a standard size such as 4x6, 5x7 etc. ?

Especially for the more unusual heart shaped frames.

I currently create a template in GIMP (with a canvas size of a standard print e.g. 4" x 6" ) with a layer representing the shape and reduce the image using trial and error until it fits.

I would do similar but when adding a layer of the shaoe I would ensure my most important parts of the image are in that shape, then delete the layer, thereby I am printing the full say 8x10 picture to allow for slight error and then cutting down to size. Works first time every time.
