Probaly just be a prelimenary round to get the numbers down to 16.

I dont know, but theres no chance we can get 32 players to stick with this to the end and play all the games, and I dont think many people want this to drag on for more than a week or 2 due to college/school coming back etc.

Maybe bump the number up to 20 or 18?

Also, emmetmcl if you want I can do the draw on a special website for these type of things and record it on my PC and upload it to youtube to make it a bit more professional ha!

Theyre wont be any shenagians also :P

20 people, make five groups of four. Play everyone once. Top two go through to the quarter-final.

I think it should be 4 groups of 5 teams, to get 8 players for quarter finals

Depends on the format, but there could be groups with less teams in them or early on there could be a number of teams given a bye to the next round.

The format of this tournament will be posted tonight.

There won't be a group stage as I've run a tournament like this on another forum and the group stage was very hard to work.
