Hey,

Just wondering if anyone out there knows much bout the surf in Sligo, am living in Sligo and would like to get into surfing. I would consider myself to be fairly fit and a good swimmer, but have never tried surfing in the past. Would like to get a few lessons before making the investment in wetsuit and board...but I hear once you try it ur hooked!

Ideally it would be good to meet like minded people interested in giving it a go...unfortunately most of my mates aren't into water sports so can't be tempted...so I'm hopin there might be a few on here!

If anyone has any suggestions or is in the same boat as me give me a shout!

Strandhill would be the best place to learn.
