Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    A good bike?

Looking for something for decent mileage coverage without being an out and out racer.

All thoughts etc accepted, as with suitable/recommended retailers.

i've had one for a couple months for commuting and I find it great. Not super light but decent components at the price. Comfortable for 50km plus - can't comment beyond that distance. I have 2 road bikes for longer/faster spins.

Same as ajk24 said. Makes the 20km round trip to work a breeze and a pleasure.

Curious why you keep the Rapid if you have a road bike. You prefer the flat bars for commuting? The Rapid is pretty much is a road bike, just with flat bars?

i have a rack and panniers on the rapid plus i use it for short spins with the girlfriend who has a hybrid. 1 Road bike is perm on turbo. Also Im picking up bad habits on this forum. I felt inadequate with just 2 bikes
