o2 price plan query, changing price plan..

    hi folks, do any of you have experience of the following,

    if you sign up with o2 say for a price plan that costs €100 monthly are you tied to that for the duration of the 18 month contract? or can you change it down after a few months?

    I think you can change it after a few months. Give customer support a bell.

    i think you can change after 6 months but you may be limited by the type of handset you have (certain handsets mean you have to have certain plans etc).

    I have a smartphone but got my plan changed to a much cheaper plan and just added an internet add on :)
