Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Job Seekers Benefit

    My contract finishes in Nov 2010. At that stage i will be 5 months pregnant. I know I can claim maternity benefit 16 weeks before I have the baby in Mar 2011 but this leaves the maternity benefit finishing at the end of May 2011. Am I entitled to claim Job Seekers Benefit in June 2011 as I won't have a job to go back to after the child is born?

    Hi whattoknow if you meet the normal conditions you should be able to get Jobseeker's Benefit when your Maternity Benefit runs out. It will be 'linked' to the Maternity Benefit claim, so you shouldn't lose the 3 days at the start of the claim. Graham Long Citizens Information
