Need help estimating time to get from Docklands to UCD

What up sirs! Basically I'm looking to see how long it takes to get to UCD from 12-20 East Road, Dublin 3 (An apartment block in Docklands), have a look on Google maps and it's pretty much there.

I'm guessing, you'd walk to the Luas and get a bus out? Has anyone any experience getting to UCD from here? How long does it take roughly?

Back story: I'm going to Bolton st. at the moment, and next year I'll prob b living with another lad goin to DIT and 2 more goin to UCD. Anyway they said they don't mind where we live as long as the commute is an hour or less.
Got an unreal price in this apartment block so I really wanna try convince them to live there.

Never thought of that! Yea it could work... Hmmm, Google says it's 7.5km, prob only take about a half an hour. Not a bad bit of exercise either Though for those hungover mornings they'll prob still need public transport.

I reckon you'd do Docklands to UCD in less than 45 mins, comfortably enough, at rush hour.
