    Hi
I was wondering if anyone would know if my husband can claim my tax frees allowance now that I am unemployed?
I am currently on jobseekers allowance, and I didn't think that he could but someone he works with had said it to him and now were not sure.
    Thanks for any help.
    Thanks in advance

Phone the tax office with your PPS number and your husbands, tell them that you want to be jointly assessed and that you want him to use your tax credits. There may be some form filling involved, but yes he can use your credits.
