Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My Dell Dimension 4600 sat down the other day and I'm presuming its the power supply thats gone. Could it be anything else?

If it is the power supply, I've heard that Dell have custom PSUs. Is this true?

Could be a few things, though PSU is prime candidate, check it first. Any life in it at all, flashing light at the power on button, any sounds, PSU fan coming on?

    Some faq here: http://www.duxcw.com/faq/ps/ps4.htm

The last part will test the PSU after checking outlet and cable. If the fan doesn't come on after doing that, then it's probably busted.

Dell did use non-standard PSUs, but I'd say it was prior to your PC.
