I used it with my last g/f.

Not regularly, but from time to time.

I suppose i'd better write you off the 'prospective' list so!! :pac:

I'm guessing a 3 letter write off would be easier than a whole person!

Likewise. My ex used to call me hun all the time and it seriously irritated me no end.

    Hate the word.

I've been making an attempt at this myself. I'm either not getting any replies or getting messages from rather unattractive women.

Oh I know the feeling - men not women though. One guy described himself as 'very attractive' - sent me a pic - he has Magnum PI tache! UGGGGHHHHH

Listen to you? NEVAR! No, I had to go to a funeral this morning so I thought best not to be out late last night.

I hate that too. I actually hate any term of endearment (maybe that's why I'm single! :pac: ) but I think you should over look it if you can. I've had to tell boyfriends at the start of relationships to ease up calling me 'babe' and 'hun'. Just tell them to stop saying it.

    Magnum PI tache?! Aces!

Terms of endearment should develop organically, using an age old "babe" or "hun" just doesn't cut the mustard. I'm sure I've come up with amazingly irritating ones in my time, though I bet the cuteness factor of them was right up there. Nice.

    :pac:

    Eeeeepp sorry to hear that.

As for pet names mostly they make me cringe, they can develop naturally though. Would hate to be called "hun" or something similar very early in a relationship.

May be different when you're not in a relationship. Maybe. "Babes" is a bit of an irritating one, regardless of useage.

We've never been on a plane together.

    Thankfully.

Interestingly enough, if you put up a photo of a penguin as your profile picture, this will increase the amount of older women that view your page.

I actually feel weird saying any sort of nickname like that, it just isn't natural. I've never really saw the appeal.

Although it is the perfect opportunity for this...

    picture.php?albumid=19&pictureid=465

    I'm not your hun, pet!

    Snoogumz? Awww, that's adorabubbles!

Right, so... date this week, of the formerly online sort. Was expecting a date and time at some point in the far future. Turns out it's much closer. Haven't even realised how nervous I should be. Heading into unknown waters here. Unknown waters.

Well hope you've more luck than me, I was meant to met someone this evening. She didn't turn up, tried texting a few times to see was she running late, no reply. More pissed off than anything else, I mean if you change your mind about meeting at least sending a message to say so would be nice.
