    I only ever tried out okcupid. It was good, had a lot of really interesting chats with people. A lot of people use plentyoffish which from what I've read in here seems to be more for people looking for 'fun'

    Don't know about the male/female divide because I never went looking at girls profiles.

    I'd recommend you give it a shot, you've nothing to lose like! But don't expect anything of it, i think it's best to just have a bit of fun with it, if you get a date that's just a nice little bonus.

    I've used both PoF and OkCupid. I preferred PoF, even though at the start it wrecked my head. It all takes a while to get used to. Some prefer OkC. I just found it very small compared to PoF. Seemed to be more users on PoF.

    Just a reminder - it takes a while to get used to!! :cool:

    had the exact same thing to me,invited me to a picnic, then went on to ignore me and started shouting @ me one nite when i did not ans her (6 msgs)then ignored nxt day again after i talking to her!!
