The vast majority of female profiles on PoF are beyond dreadful. So any woman who makes an effort to fill out a decent profile has an instant advantage imo

I know the feeling of being ashamed to be a man. Try sitting in a chat room for a few hours and see how they act when a female - or at least someone pretending to be a female - enters.

Better still one of my gfs uses chat rooms too and I get to read her logs sometimes so I see what guys say in Private Messages to try and "get" a girl. How any of them think some of those lines will work is beyond me. Two that stood out for me were guys PMing her with "If I was 2 inches tall what would you do with me" and "Have you ever got into strangling men with your legs".

I shudder to think what answer the former of those two is hoping for.

And these charming lines are the first thing they say. No hello or how are ya first... just straight into it. Also often when it comes out in the chat room that she is one of my gfs... I often quickly get private messages asking if I like to "share"... as if girls were like DVDs that you just lend out for the fun of it.

After years of seeing guys like this act like that, I always find myself with a wry smile when some thread or other on a forum starts up with a question like why girls are so wary of guys or cold in night clubs or some such.
