    Does anybody know where I can get my hands on a pair of the old civil defence epaulettes? (I'll try and upload a picture of the ones I'm talking about later). Thanks in advance.

    There you go, the ones on the top are the ones i'm looking for, to compliment a growing collection of badges and patches.

    The ones on top were never standard issue, the issue one was a lot plainer with just the bars / stripes and no crest or county name.
    The ones pictured were ordered by counties individually, I think they're still available from Cork tie and badge company. www.cotab.ie

    Thanks, I've emailed cork tie and badge company to see if they have any. In the meantime I'll keep looking around. Louth ones would be ideal, but even epaulettes without the county name would do.
