Digiweb - static or dynamic IP ?

    Hi

    I am on Digiweb Metro Broadband and was wondering the above.


    Does anyone know off hand ?

    It's Dynamic via DHCP. It doesn't usually change though. But it's not g'tee to be always the same. Talk to them if you need it to always be the same.

    Why do you care if it's Dynamic or Static?

    How Digiweb does the public Ip is nothing to do with it then :)

    Set your ethernet Wan WiFi Router to DHCP on the WAN port.

    You need to unpower the modem and re-power it and then it will give the ethernet WAN port an IP.

    I thought you wondered if Digiweb Metro IP changes.

    I hope your WiFi/router *does* have the 5th WAN ethernet port for the Modem. Connecting to one of the 4 other ports won't work, nor will a ADSL Modem WiFi Router with just 4 port switch work.
