Dublin Poker Scene 5th&6th August! Where to play??

    Im hitting Dublin for 2nights tommorow morning and im wondering where is the best place for tournaments and also cash games on both nights?? (thursday & friday night)...Iv seen the tournament schedule on the fitzwilliam site but for the buy-in and starting stack it doesnt look like great value:eek:...

    Im thinking maybe The Sporting Emporium & The Voodoo Card Club for the tourneys and The Fitzwilliam for cash action>>>:)

    Any advice would be good where to go and play for best value ect??:cool:

    Both the Voodoo and the Fitz get decent numbers on thursday nights and both tournaments have very good structures and play well despite the stacks . Perhaps you could play the voodoo thurs nite and then the scalps game in the Fitz friday night . Both places are in the city centre so no need for driving or taxi's and you can have a few beers in the Voodoo if you like.

    Statto if its cash games your after then the Jackpot is the is definately the place to go with the action often running into the nxt afternoon.

    Just bring a man bag for the loots.:D

    From thurs thru sun you can have a beer upstairs in the Voodoo from 12 until 7am .
