No mention that I can find about pricing...and there may well be business to be had over here in UK where most everybody uses US or Canadian-made stocks. There are over 250 members in MY club alone, most of whom are sporting shooters.

If I ever needed a Remington 700-series or Howa stock I'd certainly be buying Irish rather than anything from over the ocean.

Sadly, I have nothing modern enough to fit any of these great-looking stocks.

Great looking stocks but I’d also like to see prices listed on the website, I don’t think it’s asking too much. Every time I come across a site with a great looking product and no sign of a price I always ask myself, “What’s the big secret?”

I found the prices very reasonable, but dat seems to be the trend with most specialised websites such as this one.

I would presume it's due to the stocks being custom prices can vary depending on customers needs.

    Thanks for the nice words.
Now, the main reason that our website is not up to date was that
we where only starting to struture our prices and that we do not have as much products yet as we would like to actually launch advertisment.

We make our stocks different to conventionally moulded stocks, this has huge advantages for the strength, stiffness and light weight of the stocks but we need a long time to make a new modell.
So at the moment we only have a hunter style remmy 700 short action stock and the same for a howa short action.
These can be made in either glass and carbon fiber or in pure carbon fiber.
glass/carbon weighing around 850 grams 495 Euro. carbon 700-750 grams 540 Euro. Retail.
These prices are a finished stock, painted with duracoat, buttpad and swivel studs fitted. Three or more swivel studs are no problem either. Grip area can be chosen or how "rough".
Delivery times at the moment are around 2-4 weeks.
For the next half year we have planned to make a Tikka T3 hunter stock and a tactical stock for a remmy 700 short action.
We will be able to make a very sturdy light weight tactical stock then.

I was shown one of your stocks last night Edi, And I was very impressed with it. Very light and great Ergonomics

Only problem it was for right handed Rifle.(I fire Leftie)

I look forward to your stock with the cheek piece customed to shoot right handed rifle from left shoulder;)

    Edi is on Hol's

I hope to have a stock off him before Sept; I'm the guinea pig to test in the Field lol

His stocks are really light , but have a great ergo feeling in the hand.

i'm so used to a right handed rifle now I could never use a leftie.

So the stock is the way forward for me.

And many more like you, I suppose once the mould is done for your stock he will be able to reproduce off that?

Held one before above in Fergals and was impressed

Thats it in a nut shell, I can be the guinea pig, shoot a rough prototype, tweak it etc.

Edi will measure customers to fit the stock properly.

Well worth a trip to Kinsale.

Twas in Figgy's I held the stock.
The grip is very good, no chance of you slipping etc.

Edi's stocks are free floating, AFAIK he may provide a lite bedding to ensure a snug fit.

Nice one, edi - Very nice stocks. Congrats on the website and the very best of luck with the venture into the future.

It's great to see more custom and component suppliers and manufacturers being established here - Let's try and support all the lads making a huge effort. Buy Irish (or sorta Irish / German!:D;))

Damit wunsch' Ich Dir viel Erfolg!

Murph, we are looking at the new laminated tikka tatical stock shape as a base, it has some good points. Also since Roedale has introduced aftermarket bottom metalls that can use AI magazines things are coming together for Tikka as a base for a custom project.

    Feidhlim,
I have only bedded either my own rifles or friends as the stocks mostly go abroad. I started my own bedding method using a bedding material that I blend myself. This is based on the same aerospace quality resin as used for making the stocks and is very highly filled with short fiber carbon which increases stiffness, strength and has good thermal conductivity while thermal expansion is similar to steel. Much lighter than metall filled devcon. Also I know the temper profile I need to use to fully cure.

Of course the advantage of being closer to the manufacturing means one can get a few things optimized on a stock before it's sprayed. Some prefer slighly less or more palm swell and so on.
It would also be possible to get a stock in primer, have it bedded by the gunsmith of choice and we can do the final duracoat spraying afterwards. Mostly looks better and less chance of a mess-up.

We don't really want to get into working on rifles, but if someone drops in with a bit of a stock rifle fit problem we will try to help on the spot.

    edi

E di,just a suggestion. Next time you are updating the website I think it would be a good idea to show pictures of what the stocks look like in the different duracoat colours.

For example the green black blend is hard to picture! Best of luck with it!

Although, if it is similar to Tiger stripe, or olive web I'd love one!!;)
