    Hi,

Adding light and shaver unit over sink in bathroom.
It says the unit is double insulated.

    Confused
3 wires from wall ;earth and 2 brown.
(Haven't opened the rose they are conencted to.)

Earth I will cut to length and tape up....
Can I connect the 2 brown wires to either of the points in the unit or do they have to go to specific points , if so how would I know

The colours dont really matter, its what they are connected to at the other end. You really need a voltmeter.

Im guessing they just used a t+e because it was handy and all that was their at the time. One should be brown (live) and the other blue (neutral). They need to go to different terminals on the lamp fitting
