Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am aware that a person recieving a FIS payment will not recieve any increase during the FIS year even if their income increases or decreases. But does anyone know if the FIS increases if a baby comes along?
I cant find this info on the SW site.

Yes, extra payment is made for an additional child.

The only change which entitles a claimant to apply for an increase in rate during the 52 week period is:

    an additional child

Give them a call when the baby is born wait a week or so for the childs details to be registered(dob and pps no: ) on the social welfare system.they will pay from the first thursday after the child is born.
