Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Visible Dust Arctic Butterly SL724 Brite View......

I normally use a wet clean kit for my 5D.......however I have regular dust spots on the sensor. (usually arriving within a few days of the wet clean........very annoying)
Just wondering if there is anyone here that uses the above for Full Frame dust cleaning.........are they really worth the price tag?
Any recommendations as to the best place to buy, bricks / mortar or web.....links if possible.

    thanks.

I have one also, use it occasionally, I find it good for dust specks. I bought it and the Loupe (magnifying glass with illuminating leds) from DML. Expensive but once off expense.

I bought my loupe-y thing from DML as well. Very friendly people. I kinda wish they had hours on weekends or an evening during the week, though. =O Can't have everything.

I bought a less expensive illuminated loupe than that one.. it's not as good, but it's good enough for me. (The loupe they have their is really quite intensely awesome... you can really see everything in there.)

Unfortunately they were out of both sensor cleaning and lens cleaning kits when I was there.. hopefully they'll have them the next time I can stop by!

Update: Just looked at their website, and they have a really killer offer to get you into the shop:

Yes I got 2 sensors cleaned for free when I visited their shop first.
Thats why I bought my cleaning kit there at a later stage because of how nice and friendly they were.
