Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering what people carry with them on cycles in saddle bags, jersey pockets or both. I put in my jersey my phone, some cash, a laser card, snack bars and energy drink powder. in bag have spare tube, levers, multi function tool and an extra bar.

Im new to this, but thats pretty much what I carry. Have a camelback hydration bag that I carry everything in. Also carry a rain jacket and a hat, just in case the weather changes fast. I live out in the wilds of south conemara, so heading into a headwind near the sea can freeze that b*lls of a brass monkey, even in August.
As I said, im new to this so im sure you will get much better advise than mine.

i hope i bump into you if my bike acts up

depends where im cycling , XC for many hours, id bring the backpack with more or less all the above, apart from levers plus a little more stuff such as chain links, pump, towel, oil, sun block, cap

if up the phoenix park, bugger all apart from energy drink/snack/pocket size rain jacket
