Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know it's over 3 weeks away, but on yesterdays performance, I think Cork @ 4/7 to beat Limerick in Munster Hurling final is a great bet

    Or Cork -2 at Evens.

Ok, nowhere near as certain as I was last week on the Carlow bet but Galway -2 at evens v Sligo looks a great price to me. Galway should win this by a few points surely.

Only worries would be Galway's poor away form in the League and two players dropped last week for disciplinary reasons.

Limerick -6 vs London is taking a few quid. Any info on the London side?

I agree, Galway should have too much for a limited but game Sligo team. I actually think the 2 lads being dropped last week may unite the rest of the camp. I'd also be looking at Laois -4 v Fermanagh, but I suppose it depends on how they've come out of the Dublin game. Fermanagh have leaked scores at a massive rate all through the league, with the trend continuing against Antrim. I'd expect Laois to score circa 1-17, and I'd be hopeful they can concede less than 0-16 at the other end, as they've faced much better attacks than Fermanagh's this year so far

Anyone know when do they price up total points for a player?

Lots of nice handicaps this weekend. Donegal -7 against a poor Antrim side, Kerry -8 against Clare and Cork -10 (a bit more iffy) against Tipp are all around evens.

id be inclined to back these in play. the handicaps are about right but id be excepting these three teams to hold their own for a while maybe up to half time. you would get lower spreads or better value for your spreads.
for example the score between Kerry and Waterford last year was 8 to 4 at halftime and they won well.

Any tips for club games around the country this weekend? Cheers

An accumulator of all football jollies might not go astray - 4 home teams in qualifiers , gaiillimh agus dun na ngall

I'd stay away from Galway anyway - lots and lots of question marks against them with lads being dropped/leaving the panel and it wouldnt be unlike Sligo to pull a result out of nowhere in the Connacht Championship, especially at home.

Clare let a couple of easy goals in at cusack park v a poor Waterford team .... I think Kerry could bang in 4+ goals (even without gooch) and cover the -8 with a few to spare......Clare's habit of racking up large numbers of wides won't help their cause ... They seem to be able to rack up wides in cusack park as easy as away venues!! Kerry -8 @ 11/10 is my fancy....

If fancy Kk to cover -3 v Galway ... 10/11

limerick minus at 5 to 6 with pp looks good . london for sure put in the worst performance of this year v galway and in london and hard to see where improvement will come from to trouble limerick away from home .

aboue should have said limerick minus 6

Weather perfect for football @ O'Moore Park, over 34.5 points @ 10/11 with Boyles. Fermanagh managed 3-13 loosing to Antrim so 34.5 seems generous - also on the over 2.5 goals @5/4 Boyles

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

Some of the handicaps were very poor. I knew Limerick wouldn't hammer London, the odds on Derry are awful as well. I still think Kerry, Cork and Donegal will beat their handicaps though.

Arraragh, would you fukk off with this aftertiming $hite. Whats worse is you posted the below on Thursday, but conveniently forgot to mention you 'knew' Limerick wouldnt hammer London

After timing, getting more and more common round here, especially this 'told ya so' bollix and its extremely annoying

    Have a double on Clare + 8 and Galway + 3.

Kerry have lost O'Donoghue and Cooper to injury, and of course Galvin and Tomas O Se have retired. Few players a year older as well on what's been a long road and a very inexperienced backline.

Clare will in all probability have been looking towards this game and have had two preparation games against Waterford, not to mention being at home. Though a better team, Tipp should have beaten a Cork team well favoured to win Munster in the Pairc. That has done nothing to put me off this.

The other game, I think Galway will have learned more about themselves than Kilkenny. Mark Kelly starts again for example, in my opinion against a better team he would be found out. Michael Fennelly is a massive loss, not sure that Shefflin is the loss some would claim to be honest at this stage but Fennelly was the only real notable absentee when they were struggling last year.

Feel like they will push Kilkenny all the way and may even overcome them, but at the odds of 3.4/1 on this double I was happy just to take this instead.

Also, real small stake on this but Clare are 12/1 with Betfair sportsbook to lead at half time, compared to next best 13/2.

Points fest in Tullamore? I was surprised to see the total points mark at only 45.5 in the Galway vs Kilkenny game. I agree with Mountainlad in that Galway will be better today and should score and obv Kilkenny will too. I'm taking the over 45.5 there.

Also Donegal -7 against Antrim. Antrim did dispose of Fermanagh last time but I think Donegal will be looking to make a statement and I reckon they'll cover the -7.
