Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any thoughts on the weekend games lad. At an early glance I think we could see a big performance for Down after all that has been going on. They are even money with William Hill +3.

I also think Roscommon can cover the 5 point handicap in their game against Mayo. It pays 11/10 with Ladbrokes.

Have to disagree on Down - it would be one thing if they had the players, to get a backlash type performance but I think they simply don't have the players of sufficient standard.
Down still have players like O'Hanlon, Johnston, Turley, Maginn, McKernan and Poland to come in who imo would make their starting 15 a lot stronger. I want to see the team named before I place any bet but think +3 could be a great bet if right team named

Very strong line up named for Kerry. Could be value in Kerry double result hit/ft at 10/11

37.5 points is the line for the Fitzgibbon final today with PP. Neither semi-final topped that yesterday, although the game today is in Pearse stadium rather than NUIG.
I'll be waiting to closer the start to see what way the weather is, but I might have a go at the unders if it is poor conditions.

Laois footballers will have to plan without the experienced Kevin Meaney and Kieran Lillis for Saturday’s clash against Tipperary.

The injury list is increasing instead of subsiding as both players join other players on the treatment table.

Lillis injured his hamstring in training, while Meaney suffered an injury during the win over Armagh.

Laois manager Peter Creedon must face his former charges without a host of players as Brendan Quigley and Mark Timmons continue on the long term injury list, while there are doubts over the availability of John O’Loughlin, Gary Walsh, Evan O’Carroll and Damien O’Connor.

Not too sure about backing Tipp after performances so far

    34.5 with PP now, 36.5 with 365 & 35.5 with Boyle.

It was the right call to wait for the weather. Everything is going over the bar here.

Decent pitch, decent conditions, vast gulf in class is really showing here for Mary I.

agreed re Roscommon, 5 point handicap is huge this time of year.
Favs in Div 4 look good prices too
Saw Wicklow in the O'Byrne Cup and a decent junior club side would have beaten them. Depending on how London travel, I'd fancy them to beat Wicklow.

Nice win for Down as they beat Meath by 2 points covering the +3 easily enough. Unfortunately Roscommon got beat by 7 points against Mayo whose goalkeeper was named man of the match with some terrific saves to stop Roscommon from netting

This. Mike Finnerty commentating was on about the Mayo hammering and in fairness, Ross were cruel, but they ed 4/5 1 on 1s!!!! Kerry were the same in the first half! Yes, there's players missing but the gaps are seriously evident!

When Mayo play Dublin, although Dublin have stopped looking for goals, I'd be fearful!

    Under 27.5 in Killarney 5/4 bet365

Poor conditions and the wind certainly won't help

On the unders since this morning so hope you're right! Was biblical down here this morning, but not as bad now. Strong breeze still, but no rain as of now.

Bet365 dont seem to do any betting in running whenever there is rugby on. Must be the same trader that does both.

Anyone fancying Dubs to turn it around, they are the same price DNB as to win outright with sportsbook. Would look a bit of value in that

Think Louth look a nice enough price against Offaly @ 11/8.

No such thing as form lines, but working with the little there is so far:

Louth had a good O'Byrne cup run, reaching the final and have won their two opening league games against Laois away from home and Longford at home by the minimum.

Offaly accounted for Antrim in the last round, but lost out to Longford by 5 points in the first round.

No sure thing by any stretch, but will have a punt.

    Comfortable win for Louth

Covering overs bet for his initial unders bet, finished with 27 so both won.

Just FYI when backing Roscommon in future games - do not be fooled by score (8 point win) or motm decision, this was the worst performance by a Div 1 team that i can remember in a long time. Roscommon were horrendous, 8 points was being very kind to them

Yes and there are always great opportunities like this, but he really should be adjusting the stakes according to the prices.

You're spot on, I usually balance things out with regards to stakes.

Why are Offaly odds on tonight v Wexford.
Also any weather reports from venues?

Hard to see past Kerry, Armagh, Tipp treble. Also fancy Kerry on the handicap

Quinlivan went off injured the last day and not sure if hes fit, would be a loss but still think Tipp will win as they need to for their promotion hopes.

Think Waterford might cover the handicap vs the Dubs also, the performance against a woeful Cork outfit might have flattered Dublin somewhat.
Mayo +2 is tempting too in what surely will be a very close game.

+1. The Dubs have to be turned over at some point, don't they? :pac:
