Cathal Mannion and Conor Whelan both 3/1 anytime goal with PP, both players well capable of finding the net, Jason Flynn over 2.5 points at even money. Killeagh are 7/1 with 365 to beat Erins Own in Cork SHC and I've been told that they'll give them a right good test, hopefully a bit of value at least.

boyles prices out of line on few of pts today compared to sharper paddys, 365 adjusting in line with that.

The tyrone bets look strong, some good points made about the lack of strength at county level for Derry compared to levels of the clubs.

Kiladangan have some real injury problems but should have enough in what is effectively their home pitch!

Mullinahone are a bit like Liverpool in soccer, never ever back them and equally never back against them, they are the most unpredictable team ever and a lot depends on their mentality, Killenaule are similar but to a lesser extent.

Mullinahone win, they are a bookies dream the lads!

On the ball again. He's generally stronger in football than hurling imo

No luck with Whelan and Mannion, though the latter missed a great chance, Flynn did the business early on. Killeagh lost by 4 but were reduced to 14 in the first half which ruined their chances of an upset.

Disagree, I'd take 7.5 points profit any weekend to be quite honest.

Also talking Galway - 5 against Dublin, this is a fantastic Galway side and Dublin hurling is in crisis.

Pity westmeath couldn't hold on after being 5 up at the break. Some poor goalkeeping costing them in the end. Overall though a profitable weekend.

Hypothetically following only his football selections would have returned a 7.5 points profit. I pretty much only punt on football.

Depends on the bettor. 1 point could equal 10 quid or 100 quid depending on the punter.

    Fair enough.

I suppose I had the hurling tips and Saturdays and last weekends tips in my mind.
    Very poor of late.

Not just the bets not coming in, but miles off, i.e. betting on Cork to trounce Waterford

A point is what ever you decide. If you have ?100 to gamble a point might be a tenner.
    2 points = ?20 .

Most of the tipsters use that system the higher the points the more confident they are on the selection.

Ah now, the whole country thought Cork would hammer Waterford! I checked the pools thread as well, and the lowest margin of victory for Cork was estimated at 7!!

Cork footballers turning into a laughing stock. Sad really.

He backed them to win by more than 16 points and score 4+ goals.

The only team in the country capable of doing that is Dublin, not a team playing poor Div 2 football and away in an awkward pitch.

Bit of a move on for Carlow tonight in PP. And Boyles have suspended betting at the moment on it.

Yeah noticed that myself, whereas Wexford u21 have drifted along with the odds for Dublin to score the 1st point against Carlow.

Dublin -20 is surely a bit crazy against Carlow is it? Would Carlow +20 be worth a shot? You are talking pretty much 7 goals?

Job done. Didn't exactly win like a 1/5 shot, but getting 4/9 was grand.

It might be. It's one I will be staying away from. I think the Dubs are capable of winning it by 30 points, but like last year in Leinster, I think they will probably only do the needful.

Have to agree, will be keeping away from it. You can have Carlow +21 with SJ @ 10/11. Something interesting here too:

To be honest, I don't see Dublin going to town on Carlow goals-wise. They'll likely get 1 or 2 and continue to clip over endless points. They know they will win, and won't do it in an overly facile manner... goals-wise anyway. Like anyone, I can see Carlow fading in the final quarter and Dublin at their ease knocking them over for fun towards the end; the kind of end anyone on a Cover Handicap hates!

I notice both PP and Boyles have both cut Dublin over 3.5 goals into 11/10 in the last hour or so. It will be interesting to see if this is another of Jennings selections that the price that will be printed in tomorrows Racing Post will have been long gone..

I think I will be, I'm rolling over last weeks winnings and am thinking of taking the 1/3 DNB as opposed to 4/9 win.
