Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thats a good spot. I would have had the handicap as double that. I had a good cut at the -3 this evening.

Yeah it's already out to -4 at 11/10. Still think that's great value though. As Boom Boom says, the Monaghan attack had an off day yesterday(15 wides), yet they still got 1-15 in awful weather conditions against a very defensive team. With McManus, McCarron and McCarthy up front as well as their runners from deep, I think they have real potential to rack up a good score.

Offaly should have put westmeath away last weekend, but mainly due to indiscipline they didnt (finished with 13 men)

15/8 is too big to ignore on saturday

Portlaoise(Laois) palatine (carlow) and ballymun kickems (Dublin) to win their respective county championships is a great treble, I think all will do it, throw in the all blacks to win the lions tour for odds of around 18 to 1. Easy money 👍🙏🤑

Miltown Lisseycasey double in Clare football pays around even money. Picking it off the ground

Galway total points over 32.5 at 4/5 with Boyles, under 35.5 at 4/6 with PP, might interest a few lads.

Did Kildare over 17.5 at 1/1 with Boyles and also Meath over 16.5 at 1/1 with Boyles.
I would be confident 1 of them will go over and I think there is a good chance both of them will, if the weather is decent.

    how so?

If the Galway score 33 34 or 35 points you'd win both bets.. You'd be burning a few quid though having level stakes on both while hoping for the double touch

You'd nearly want to be getting 10/11 on both those to make it worthwhile or at least 5/6 & 10/11

Not really, just take it on what it is. You're getting 13/2 or so on it landing 33,34,35. Given that theyre the most likely scores out of the range it could be (anywhere from 20-45 or so), it's a fair enough price. Small bit of value, not much in it

13/2? Is it not a good bit less than that?

50 pts on each bet will return
    a) 83pts (17 point loss)
    b) 90 pts (10 point loss)
    c) 173pts (73 point gain)

And C has a very small window for winning - where is the 13/2 coming from?

Sorry yeah, quick calcs in my head were a bit wrong.
52 and 48 split gives a 172 return, cost is 13 quid if only 1 wins, so a 9/2 shot or so

    b) 90 pts (10 point loss)
    c) 173pts (73 point gain)

What price would you make it to land there?

Austin Gleeson named centre back for Waterford but looking at the rest of the team, he's pretty much certain to start in the forwards.

PP's special of him to score a point from play in each half @ 2/1 strongly appeals

Picked out only 3 this week -

    Sligo under 17.5 points
Donegal v Tyrone under 28.5 points
    Cork +4

Works out about 3/1 on Boyle.

    Meath under 18.5
    Donegal over 13.5
    Louth

    4/1 PP.

Ballyporeen gone favs with most bookies v Cahir tonight.
    Still 31/20 with bet365
I have no idea about the game but there seems to be value on ballyporeen with bet365

Might get a nice cash out offer once their traders cop the movement

Conor Whelan point from play in both halves is 11/10 with PP mad price I reckon, I'd have that 2/5 or 1/3

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,486 ✭✭✭manafana

Conditions superb for attacking football today,

thought the Laois o1.5 goals at 6/5 looks nice price. SImliar with louth think they can bag the two goals needed at a big 7/4
