The worst thing about the bets is that they're phoned in based on what seems to me to be a superficial look at the game combined with outdated tropes. Many will take his opinion seriously. Like yourself I feel there's not 1 shrewd bet in there this week. Never seems to be. That's in contrast to Mulvihill who seems to follow things more closely.

Fermanagh handicap was shrewd? Line moved by 3 points prematch?

That was one of the worst games of football that I've seen.

    Absolute dirt .

Kerry - 15 even money with PP at the moment. Galway -15 is 10/11. Decent double

Cant blame Fermanagh at all but Mon were extremely poor.

I actually did Ferm in the hcap but my god it was such a hard watch.

    Waterford-2 evens pp at ht

Waterford doing the business thankfully, tipp deservedly favourites going in but couldn’t understand the 9 point handicap given what we’d seen from tipp so far this year.

Looks like the handicappers had this match the wrong way around.

Waterford +9 is my main bet 20/23.

    Two small stakes for value.
    Waterford HT/FT 20/1 (10/1 with PP)
    Waterford to win 6/1

    All with B365

Tonight's gonna be a good night.

Cashed out the HT/FT at HT.

Can anyone tell me where I could bet on a player to get an all star??

They had the market last year. I made a nice few pound on Joe canning.

Can't find the market anywhere at the moment online tho.

you must have had one hell of a ball of money on CAnning then cos he d have been about 4/6 at best before the campionship

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,795 ✭✭✭spurshero

Spoils actually have one up . Canning is currently 4 to 6 . Looks free money currently but ya never know I
Suppose . Injuries or if Galway beaten in semis could scupper it

Anyone know where I can place a bet on yellow cards and scores from sidleline cuts in hurling games - Boyles definitely had these markets for the Semi finals and final last year - gutted so far because the scores form sideline cuts and hurlers I would def pick for cards are winning but I can't back them. Thanks

You could try the #whatoddspaddy option with Powers or match specials with Boyles but invariably you wont see these as standard markets until the semi final stage.

    8/11

Crazy generous odds considering he was 3/1 to be player of the year.

I'll back him again now at 4/6.

Thoughts on Cork Kerry Munster final?

    Handicap Kerry -4 = 11/8.

Would fancy Kerry to win this one fairly handy.

#Whatoddspaddy specials can be interesting. They were offering 3/1 for there to be at least 10 points scored in the first 10 minutes of Cork v Limerick. The bet came in a winner.

The same bet was offered for the Monaghan v Fermanagh in the football at 8/5!!!! How could the odds be less for a football game, especially given the two teams who were playing.

Absolutely. -4 at 11/8 and -5 at 9/5 have to be taken. I am confident Kerry will win by 6 or more, I think more like 9 or 10. Rarely tie money up for a bet nearly 3 weeks away, but this is worth it.

Sounds good - where did you get these - can't find -5 on Boyles or PP? Thanks

Armagh - 2 vs westmeath 11/10 PP but Boyles have it - 3 at 5/6

I'd be straight on that 11/10 , Westmeath still missing players will be annihilated by Armagh. Strange seeing such a difference in price over the handicap, I guarantee Powers will change that shortly.

On another note , what upsets do everyone fancy in the qualifiers? I'm on Carlow to beat Laois. I believe Westmeath complimented Laois a bit too much in the last match (considering I've seen u14s defend better). I'll take Carlow for that game. The bookies don't want to seem to acknowledge that they aren't just getting lucky (odds-wise anyway)

If you are looking for almost guaranteed money and don't mind waiting then this is the safe bet IMO. Image below.

    Armagh - 2
    Meath Hurlers +8
    Kerry - 3

€100 treble returns just under €750
