Going against the grain here with a small bet on Clare at 3/1.

Ennis is an awful tough place to play. Clare are in their 3rd year in Division 2 and have surprised a good few teams in Clare in the last few years. They won the McGrath Cup final against a decent Cork side and Keelan Sexton tipped over 1-10 for UL against DIT last week.

Donegal are talented and I expect them to top Division 2 in the end, but minus the Gaoth Dobhair lads and McBrearty up front, Clare have a bit of a chance, and worth a little bet at decent odds.

Anyone have an update on Darragh Fitzgibbons injury for Charleville? hurt his knee against Graigue Ballycallan, Oranmore 7/4 to beat Charleville in the All Ireland Intermediate final.

Charleville have alot of under 21's, Fitzgibbon is the engine of the team and worth about 5 points to them if he's 100%

He was named to start against UCD in Fitz last week but I checked report and he didn’t play - what’s wrong with him?

Football 4 fold accumulator for this weekend, looks like a winner to me,

    Donegal -2 v Meath 10/11
    Laois to beat Louth 2/7
    Monaghan to beat Roscommon 8/15
    Down to beat Sligo 8/13

    Odd of 5/1

    Thoughts anyone?

Knee injury, had a scan the week after the Semi Final, unaware of the result of that and the extent of the injury

I like the look of that 4 fold.

Not as clear cut but I think Offaly are good value @7/4 to beat Longford away. Louth are muck at the moment and this Longford team failed to score from play in the O'Byrne Cup semi final against Westmeath. They would be firm favourites for me if they had the Mullinalaghta lads. I expect Offaly to take them, they'll be hurting after the manner of the defeat to Westmeath.

Completely agree. Longford were dreadful last week, they were lucky to run into a diabolical Louth side. If Offaly have recovered from losing after being 8 up last week then I’d expect them to beat Longford

reckon we might see a few games called off this week especially in the west or north

There was money to be made on the handicap with the Carlow hurlers v Dublin last weekend, might be the same against Galway?

    Sunday NFL 4 fold

I noticed that Jennings mentions that Laois are on home soil even though the game is in Croke Park.

    Profit/Loss +24

This week I am doing Laois, Donegal and Armagh. €20 treble returns €51.

Took Dubs to score 4 or more goals at 18/1 with Boyles (v PP 17/2). Purely a value bet, no rationale behind it other than the Dubs might be stung from last week and Galway still missing Corofin.

Learnt over the years that these short price trebles are way to poorhouse . Not saying it won’t win but bookies love these bets

Yeah most likely will but I finished with a small profit doing the same last year so just interested to see could I increase the profit a little bit this year. Only doing €10 or €20 so hopefully won't lose too much.

Can anybody tell me why Kerry won’t beat Cavan by the minus 3 handicap tomo ?? Cavan were very poor against Galway last week . A Galway team missing a good few players as well and who themselves looked very poor against Dublin tonight even allowing for players missing .

This stage of the year being away from home and with rain promised is enough for me to leave this alone. They could well cover it but you'll find better even money shots imo

Was at the Waterford Offaly match last Sunday and I can tell you the +11 is justifed and then some. Gives me no pleasure to say it but Offaly were absolutely awful
