Teams will want to avoid the dubs in semis too.

It’ll be the team playing in second (more than likely) playing Dublin so they’ll all want to win right?

Looks a good bet all the same at 4/6

McCaffrey at 12s for POTY as previous poster mentioned is a great bet. Tomorrow’s game should give more of an indication on betting market, value there today.

Yep so you'd be happier with 1st than finishing 2nd, think in all 3 games there will be something to play for.

    What's everyone's thoughts on Meath not to win a game @ 4/6?

Just to be clear it's to lose all 3 games on PP. Slight difference (takes away draws).

I spoke with PP about Meath and Cork losing all 3 games in the Super 8s and was offered 3s

I would be careful with Meath, promoted to div 1, caused a few problems for the Dubs early on, have plenty of strength in depth in the squad, I can see them winning at least one game, Kerry are very vulnerable and have yet to see Donegal under pressure

The thing about Cork's group is it's definitely not outside the bounds of possibility that going into the last game both Cork and Roscommon could have lost both of their games. The game is in Cork but it's hard to know how Cork and Roscommon would perform in that situation, with nothing to play for and off the back of 2 beatings. I think Dublin and Tyrone will completely shut down Cork's attack but I wouldn't be shocked if Roscommon turned in a below-par performance against Cork if they had nothing to play for, especially given they won the Connacht title.

Even ignoring the Dublin game, Meath haven't displayed all that much in the championship this year to suggest they will seriously trouble the other 3 teams in their group - 0.83/1 if you back all 3 to beat Meath looks better odds to me than 3/1 for Cork and Meath to lose all 3 games and I think the wheels are going to come off in a big way for Cork in their next 2 games. I just think the Rossies are too much of a variable in the the last match against Cork.

6/4 for 4 goals in a game is a dreadful price. Do fancy the rossies to give Tyrone a rattle though much better value in that game

was just thinking the same ,, how someone getting paid to write tips couldn't
find something better than that at 6/4 is poor

Under 39.5 points in Donegal Meath game.
0.5 Cork goals in Dublin Cork game.

Club Football games on in Waterford , Westmeath and Louth this weekend , anyone any good tips ?

Nothing standing out as being the wrong price in Louth. Mary’s and Martins should win easily, Dundalk Gaels should edge their game. Pats could have a squeak at 2/1 but you’d be relying on Paddy Keenan basically winning it on his own

365 are 2 points below PP's -13 handicap at ht in the Dublin game.

Looking at man of the match odds in the four football games. Clifford is 4/1. Can’t remember a player being that low before. Aidan Shea is 12/1, seems a decent price, if David Moran has a good game against him and Kerry win, the 20/1 on him could be generous in comparison.
Peter Harte is 6/1 in Tyrone game, was tempted to back him if he gets cleared but that’s too short. Conor Cox has had some impressive performances in Connacht. If Roscommon get a result he could have a big say, currently 11/1.
In Dublin game I like McCaffrey as I have him backed for POTY already, he’s 10/1. I like Hurley at 14/1 in case Cork show at all.
Up in Donegal, Jamie Brennan should have a good game but 7/1 is fairly tight.
I’ll try Moran, O Shea, Cox, Brennan, McCaffrey and Hurley. Clearly these are just bets for interest!
That’ll do me for the weekend!

One so far covers the rest anyway. Also POTY still on

Great call, I followed myself and also backed him anytime at 16/5, as I had been in at Leinster final and when u mentioned him, I recalled his performance that day, incredible pace. Great call for poty too, but only if dubs win and I haven't been impressed with them their last 2 games. Great attempt by cork tonight, but....

Yeah but if he plays 70 minutes in four winning games (including a potential hammering of Roscommon) he has a chance.
