Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Changing print servers in work

and I have to remove all printers from xp and win 7 machines

and reinstall the same printers but on a diff print server

Is there a script vb or batch that will delete all printers
    and install the new ones

So the script will need to delete
    \\printerserver1\printer1
    \\printerserver1\printer2
    and install
    \\printerserver2\printer1
    \\printerserver2\printer2

If anyone has a script that would do this, would appreciate it

If you're getting rid of the original print server, then you might get away with just altering the HOSTS files (on everyones PC) to point to the new machine.

    Ie. in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

    Adding the following line

    12.34.56.789 oldservername

Where you replace 12.34.56.789 with the IP address of the new print server.
And oldservername is the machine name of your old print server.

Then any requests for <oldservername> are redirected to the new server IP address.

Although this solution shouldn't be used if you're still going to use the old print server machine for anything.
