Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The EM Light is constantly on in my g/f little motor. She has had a diagnostics done on and it was put down to a faulty sensor on the exhaust which was replaced and the light was off for a few days but is now back on continously.
Any thoughts/advice before its off to the garage again!?
    Thanks in advance

Strange that the light should come back on if the faulty sensor
was replaced. New part then clear the fault/light from the cars ECU.
How have you found the car on petrol is it drinking any more than normal.
    Is it running any smoother.

    What was the fault code,
These commonly throw up a p0170 or 171 cant recall due to low voltage from the MAF.
Some workshops wrongly replace the o2 sensor and the fault returns.

Very common fault with the Mk1 Yaris. My one had the same problem and I got it reset on the diagnostics computer when the car was in having another job done. To make the light temporarily go away you can disconnect and reconnect the battery.

    +1

You could have a P0171 fault code (lean fuel system code) which may be caused by unmetered air entering the engine bypassing the MAF.
