    Hey Lucky-Colm

Gez, sorry I missed your post a couple of days back...

I can make your choice easy for you - well sort of, there's lots to choose from!

All our TV's in the from 32" and up are:
    1080p Full HD
at least 100Hz, some are 200Hz and some 400Hz
All have MPEG 4 Digital tuners
Can be plugged into a PC
Have at least 3 HDMI inputs (increases as you move up the range)
    All have 2 year warranty
    are available in 32,37,40,42 (5405H only), 46 & 52" screen sizes
We can deliver anywhere in Ireland no problem.

Check out the various ranges here -

    The latest 5 series
    http://www.philipsshop.ie/fiveseries.htm

available in 37 and 42" with standard CCFL backlight - 5405H range
Available in 37 and 40" with LED Back Lighting
both types use Pixel Plus HD Image processing engine
    100Hz refresh rate
    2ms response time

    The latest 7 series TV's
    http://www.philipsshop.ie/sevenseries.htm
These use EDGE Lit backlight so are very thin
    Have Ambilight
Have WIRED NET TV (PTA01 Wireless dongle available soon €49.99)
Use Pixel Precise HD Image Processing Engine
    100Hz Refresh rate
    2ms response time

    The new 8 series TVs
    http://www.philipsshop.ie/eightseries.htm
as per the 7 series but
Use Perfect Pixel HD Image processing engine
    200Hz refresh rate
    1ms response time
    The 40" is a 3D ready TV

I know there is a good few model there to have a look at and I'm happy to help narrow the choice down if you could give me a few features you'd desire in your new TV.

A budget to work from wouldnt go a miss as well:)

The really interesting TV's I feel start with the new 7 series range (not putting down the 5 series as there are way ahead of last years 5 series TV's - I just think the 7 series are VERY well spec'd)

Well thats a little reading material to start with and you can down load the specs for each from the links attached - prices as well.

I do have all on display if you want to see them in action and have a demo of them call on in.

    Lucky,

By Name & Nature - I have had a word or two with Ash and I have PM'd you a deal on a 42" LCD Full HD 100Hz Philips in your budget!

Keep me posted if we can assist and thanks for thinking of us!
