Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

looking for specific video codec

    Hi folks, quick one.

    I used to have a freware codec installer that I used for quite a while with XP machines, until my HD was erased!! Now Ive lost the install.

    I was nearly certain it was ffdshow, but Have tried that and its nothing like it :eek:

    It had none of the control panel interface frippery, the icon (of the installer I think) was like a little yellow and red explosion with blue or purple writing across it

    the reason I dont remember much about it was it just needed the installer to be run and that was it, no interfaces sitting in the tray - nada, it just made sure that when a DVD went into the DVD-tray - WMP played it straight up, no questions asked

    so if anyone can tell from that what app it was Id be mighty grateful :)

    PS: just realised I could be misremembering it and that was actually and audio codec, but thats not as likely....
