I just spotted that the European is now holding singles s/ford competitions on a very regular basis (not the weekend though, unfortunately). Does anyone know what they are charging for this?
To my shame, I still haven't played this course. I now have no excuse.

+1 Really want to play it. I rang up today and to my delight the price is E70. I will defo take advantage of this offer.

I agree but its a hell of a lot cheaper than the E180 for a green fee.

always different depending on time of year, rang them at short notice in Feb as a local course was closed, got out for €50,we were charged €60 a couple of months ago as there were 8 of us,depends on what kind of mood young Paddy's in,usually good mind you
the best value of the lot is that singles or doubles comp they have over the winter/spring,€50 and you could get 8 rounds for that if you progress, you organise the first round yourself so get 4 friend to play v each other and 2 of the group are guaranteed 2 rounds for €50

Thanks might chance my arm. But it's always nice to play in the summer months and the added bonus of playing for something is nice. I have paid more than 70 for the carton courses in society golf and the European is up there in the top 5 in the country.

    Hi,
Well worth €70, the Kclub and mount Juilet still charge around that for there open comps, if the green fee was 70 everyone would think it was good value.

€70 is a bit steep, I guess I won't be playing every week so.
Definitely once though. It'd be nice if he had those matchplay tournaments on during the summer.
