Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Decision, decision

Right, after much searching and reading reviews, I decided on a GIANT Rapid 3, only to be told they are out of stock and unlikely to resurface soon.

So, should I go for the Cyclesuperstore recommended LaPierre SHAPER 300, or go for a GIANT Defy 3?

Use would be 99% non-competitive,with one or two sprint triathlon uses(me being too old to be really competitive)

    All suggestions welcome.

Of the bikes you mention, get the Defy. It has drop bars.

What's the general feeling about LAPIERRE bikes? Good? Strong? Durable?

I have one for the last few years - never a problem and I love it but I'd agree on the drops issue - especially if you're going to do a triathlon or two.

edit - when I say I have one, that's a Lapierre, not a shaper specifically.
