I was buying somethings for a BBQ a bit back, and was caught in a choice between buying either Chef or Heinz brand ketchup. I went with Heinz, which seemed to be the right choice for the event, though some people said they much preferred Chef. What I want to know is...

Which is your preferred one of the two? Why do you prefer it? Does it make a difference to you? Or is there something better out there.

Personally, I don't really mind which one. Somedays I preferr one, others the other.

Which ketchup is the one for you? 318 votes

    I despair.
If people are not misinformed about superior tea bags then they're misinformed regarding superior ketchup. It's Chef, quite obviously.
If you're gonna have heinz you may as well buy a bug litre bottle of candee squeezy sh1t because they're pretty much the same

Chef seems to go well with a burger with fried onion on it, as it errs on the sweet side o' things. Heinz seems to me to go well with mustard on a hotdog. I'll admit I do use the cheaper ones, Tesco/ Dunnes own brand as a base for sauces. It doesn't matter by the end of it as you can't tell what brand was the base sauce.

Have ya ever had Polish ketchup?...coz thats exactly what it's like,
Chef all the way for me, if you ever go to a Polish house party stay away from the ketchup, it's rank, not a trace of vinegar in it, rotten, better bring yer own

    Chef ftw.

They shouldn't label it as 'ketchup' then. A little misleading.

Thread tied up nicely now though.
