What are peoples opinions on under 2.5 goals in tonight's match? 5/6 seems decent to me

I've gone for Overs, hoping it will be a wide open game

Watford to beat Aldershot at evens is great value in my opinion. It'll definitely be my main bet tomorrow. I might throw in a small accumulator aswell.

Really think people are over-estimating Stevenage here. Saw them a couple of times last season and while they did quite well in that league it's a massive step up regardless of the team Pompey are playing. Steve Cotterill swings it for me. I'll be taking Pompey and a bit on the handicap.

    5 pts Pompey @ 6/4
    2 pts Pompey @ 3/1

All games are evens for over 2.5 on PP as far as I can see. Pick a good treble or quad and you get 8/1 or 16/1.

    Bradford vs Notts Forest
    Aldershot vs Watford
    Crewe vs Derby
    Wycombe vs Millwall

Considering the above accumulator. €10 returns €144. Very very tempting.

Are Leeds missing a few players for tonight? I know Gradel is suspended

Watford at evens does look excellent value. Does any one know what matches are on tv?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

    11/10 in Ladbrokes are Watford.

I've gone for an accumulator of

    Bradford vs Notts Forest
    Aldershot vs Watford
    Chesterfield vs Middlesbrough
    Crewe vs Derby
    Wycombe vs Millwall

€10 returns just over €377. It was too tempting to resist.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

Does look a nice accum, think Bradford at home could be tricky,a draw wouldn't surprise me there.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

I also went for a slightly friendlier accumulator of Watford, Norwich and Sheff Utd. €10 returns over €50. And I threw €3 on Accrington Stanley against Doncaster @ 7/1 for poops and giggles.

Ive gone for this over 2.5 goals accum for tonight...my thinking is all the favourites bar Swindon are away from home against weaker opposition.
Also they prefer to attack than defend which should leave holes in defence as the underdogs try to catch them on the break.

Other reasoning is that these early stages of the Carling cup normally are free flowing, error prone matches, due to teams trying to find a rhythm into the new season, concentration levels hopefully wont be at the highest :pac:

    Aldershot v Watford @ 21/20
    Bradford v Forest @ 21/20
    Chesterfield v Boro @ evens
Swindon v Leyton Orient @ evens

    5 euro returns 84.20

I'm considering absoliutely lumping it on Doncaster tonight. (Possibly my biggest bet ever).

Will look at team news now and everything from every angle, but I've got that feeling about this game. Could be over by half time.

    Hopefully anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,979 ✭✭✭Vurnon San Benito

Nah I won't be now after seeing the amount of injuries they have.
Was wondering why it was such good value! :D

Will still probably scrape it 1-0 though.

You won't be covered there. 90 minutes only. Unless otherwise stated. Sorry :(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,645 ✭✭✭Daemos

Yeah I'm serious, Unless you specify otherwise, a 'win' bet only counts in 90 minutes. Unlucky dude.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,079 ✭✭✭colly54

you have to write "to qualify" if you ment to go through

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,985 ✭✭✭skelliser

    Accrington are 2-1 up anyway

FFS!! Im gonna argue my case if i win anyway seeing as its a cup match and there is no replays.

Won't make a difference, but if you want to kick up a fuss over something you lost fair and square then who am I to stop you?

Looking at a few of the matches tomorrow,I was thinking about the following accum:
    Sheffield Utd 11/10 v Hartlepool
    Reading 1/1 V Torquay
    Germany 11/10 v Denmark.

    Anyone any thoughts?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29 Heart.Desire

Looks good, but I like Torquay and I think they could possibly take the game to extra-time. They probably won't, but I'm not risking it. Cardiff City are a much safer bet against Burton Albion tomorrow.

    Threads merged.

To save room this thread will also be about the midweek internationals and the Carling Cup.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29 Heart.Desire

Argentina to be winning at half-time or full-time at 4/7 is great value in my eyes, and it'll wil be one of my two bets tomorrow. The other being Cardiff City -1 against Burton Albion.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

I didn't put on that treble, having seen that alot of Reading's players hjave gone on international duty.
    Have gone for:
    Spain
    Holland
    Argentina
    Germany.
    Pays around 19/1,fingers crossed.
