Hey a few changes have been made to the Electric Eighties event thats taking place in Charleville from the 19th-22nd August.

On account of the Charleville Footballers playing in the County final on Friday the 20th, the pub quiz has been postponed until the following Friday which is the 27th.

all the other events are still going ahead. on the Sunday, there will be the Bed Push, the obstacle course, rock the boat on the main st, not mention the photos with disney characters for the kids, presentations for the winners of the bed push and the 5-a-side soccer tournament.
and dont worry, we'll keep ye updated with the goings on in Croke Park too.

The street will be closed off from around 1:30 pm to 5pm and traffic diversions will be in place, AA roadwatch have the info on their website.
and we ask that you please dont park your car in Charleville Town on Saturday night, or if you do can you please move it before 12 on Sunday, as the street will be closed and you wont be able to get your car!

Its going to be a fantastic few days for a fantastic cause. We are trying to raise as much as we can for Heart Children Ireland to help them keep doing the great work they do, supporting families of kids with heart problems, and for Crumlin Childrens Hospital.
This is also a community event, we want the whole town to get involved, give the town a boost!!

so if your around north Cork this weekend and your looking for a fun day out with the family, come to Charleville!
