If I had to pick one, it would be Colts +3/Bills +3, although I'd be equally as optimistic about the Panthers +6.5/Dolphins - Ravens over 40.5.

Sebastian Janikowski, I love you. Raiders Chiefs go to overtime. A winner will mean our overs of 40.5 wins our double with the Cards/Vikes. Very profitable weekend :)

Great work man, only had small stakes myself, but I've doubled my bank and it's mainly down to your selections. Maybe it's time to double my stakes?

Thinking about that myself! On one hand, I'm overdue a poor week, but on the other, I've seen a return of 75 points in 3 gameweeks since changing to this system. It would be bloody typically of it to go arseways as soon as the stake increases though. :o

Well, if you kept your points system the same and kept betting a percentage of your maximum bank I reckon you'd increase your profits more quickly. Any of your losses have been relatively small and short lived!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,339 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Go double stakes on one of them or increase by 50%. Whichever one you think is your strongest play. When you done singles you used to have a favorite one which reflected your unit stakes. You're doing well at an unpredictable stage of the season. So i can't imagine it going that much arse ways for ya. You could compensate by making the anytime TD scorer bets into doubles as well as there have been a few times you've got 2 up only for the 3rd to let you down.

Thanks dude. I'll be staying away from the spread tonight, but might throw on an anytime TD scorer. I'll see if anything stands out and post here with plenty of notice.

    Ah sure why not.

1.5 pts - Mike Wallace anytime TD @ 7/4 (PaddyPower)
1.5 pts - Hines Ward anytime TD @ 7/4 (PaddyPower)

I figure one of them will get a touchdown, if not both. Even if it's only one, that will be a profit anyway. Ideally I'm looking for both to get on the scoresheet, but we've got good odds that ensure that even if only one of them does, we're making some money.

Perfect end to the perfect weekend. Both of them grabbed touchdowns :)

Completely forgot about the Ravens @ Falcons game tonight. I had looked at it too for my weekend's picks and was going to post it up on Saturday :o

So, one of my NFL doubles for this week is

Baltimore Ravens @ Atlanta Falcons (-1)
New England Patriots (+4.5) @ Pittsburgh Steelers
    5 pts @ 13/5
    (Bet365)

Basically, I would trust Matt Ryan at home with my life, so a -1 spread will suit me fine. I'm also lumping this in with the Pats on Sunday, basically because Tom Brady on Sunday Night Football as an underdog is something I don't want to miss out on. Very similar prospect to Peyton Manning as an underdog last week which came through for me. Brady has a habit of beating the Steelers (he's 5-1 against them) and we all know what he (and the Pats in general) are like coming off of a loss with a chip on their shoulder. I would compare last week's loss to the Browns to last season's unexpected loss to the Broncos, to which they responded with a 59-0 thrashing of Tennessee. I'm very confident putting my money in Tom Brady's hands this weekend.

Oops, that's a typo. That should be +1.5 as you pointed out, thanks! :o

Well Pittsburgh let me down, but 3 of tonight's 4 doubles are still alive and I would have taken that at the start of the night. I'll still throw that Stanford bet into another double before Saturday as I really like that bet. Matt Ryan saved us in the Ravens game, but like I said, I trust him with my life when he's at home :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,339 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Great 4th quarter last night. A bit of luck as well. The White TD at the end could have easily been brought back if offensive players weren't favored a bit less.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

Was getting a bit nervy alright, but I wasnt too worried once the Falcons got into FG territory at the end. The touchdown made me relax just a bit more in the end :D

Gotta love Matt Ryan at home. 18-1. Thats phenomenal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,339 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Yeah unbelievable record. Especially for only a third year QB.

Stanford have dropped to -4. I'm all over that.

    Stanford (-4) @ Arizona St.
