Bloody Central Florida match settled at 52 when we had over 54 :(:(

TCU are starting to motor they are 20 - 14 up after being 14-0 down.
could badly do with them covering the spread.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,339 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Aztecs got lucky early on to go 14 up before TCU got settled. Been all TCU since. 20 points ahead now. Can see them covering a -10 handicap for the second half.

Not having a great day myself but Ouch on the Texans and Browns. Can't believe those 2 late TD's. Horrible luck pal but you'll make it back.

i remember back when you posted a screenshot of a bet you did.
    and if i recall correctly a 1 pt = 5euro.
does dat mean you have 375 euro on this bet..

Nope, but it was over €200, and I even posted that on a private forum well before this match. I provide you with a screenshot if you wish or have other members of said forum who are mods of other forums on here confirm. And anyway, my bets on here don't have to correspond to what I bet in real life. I took a huge punt, and it won, and Im fúcking delighted! :D

Looks like David Garrard wasn't the only person to toss up a hail mary in the dying seconds today ;)

Whats the point in keeping a log then if its fictional ?

If New England had of lost the handicap would u be putting 200 points on tonights game just to keep the log in profit.

I must admit l dont know much about the nfl but its a game l enjoy to watch and gamble on and my pp balance is alot healthier thanks to your thread with the write ups but surely a loseing week on the thread isnt that big a deal.

It's not fictional, every bet I've placed in this log, I've placed for real. I just didn't have 75 points worth of money in my account to place that bet (what I had came to between 45 and 50) so I threw it all on the Patriots, but I wanted it as a 75 point in here. No big deal. And no, a losing week is not the end of the world but I'd rather a profit every week which is why I put the 75 points on the Pats. I don't see how anyone can have a go considering it won. I'm not holding a gun to a anybodies head and telling them to place the same bets I do - if you don't like it, then don't place it, but don't fúcking question how I try and make a profit.

Gambling is no fun without the odd loss chasing bet, well done my man.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,250 ✭✭✭Juwwi

    Jasus calm down.
It was a simple question I taught logs were for traking bets placed.
Anyway l'll stop clogging up your thread.
Good luck keep up the good work.

Looks like the birds could get 43 on their own! Up 28-0 in 1st quarter, Michael Vick playing a stormer. Nice bet my man, PP now offering 59.5 as the total points @ 5/6.

Some people don't like having money spread out all over the place and only use one or two bookies. And in the NFL lines and spreads change all day long and odds go up and down. So depending on the time of day some people can get better value. Happens so much in all American sports actually.

The odds go up and down as well. The -3 was 5/6 and when it went to -3.5 it was 10/11 on PP. There was a lot of money coming in for the unders after early sharp money poured in on the overs. So they dropped the line and made the odds more attractive. Just a trap to try get more people on it as the overs were clearly what the sharp money was favoring.

The overs line was 44 when I took the over 43 bet. I wasn't entirely sure there would be over 44 in this game (nobody knew this would turn into the scorefest it has become) so I went for an alternative spread of 43 instead, hence the odds.
