cab to sort out fueding families ??

hi
has anyone read in the clare people today that , the the authortys in ennis are now going to bring in cab, to try to sort out the fueding families of this town. what is goin to be next ?????

Didnt read it yet, but if it means cab figuring out how they are paying for top of the range vans etc im all for it. And stop them them getting free legal aid when obviously they can afford legal counsel, no harm then!

ya true thats all well and good, but that wont stop them fighting, what idea will they come up with next a army presence 24/7 its just a joke

It was only a matter of time sure. Yer man that got done with a machete called for free legal aid, and the Gards found he had a couple bank accounts in his own name with what? €30,000+ in it which he couldn't account for? He then tried to say he 'forgot' about those accounts.

I'm glad to see them bringing in CAB over this - maybe it will keep them from acting like animals and hacking up each other in front of children.

..and throwing grenades in attached houses. Seriously - how thick do ye think those walls are?

Well, I'd say that people who hack at each other with machetes and throw grenades at each other will hardly change their ways because the cab is after them.
These people are beyond any kind of intervention, they see society as an obstacle to them gaining wealth by any means whatsoever, anyone who gets in their way has to be eradicated and that goes doubly for rival gangs. The formula being that any rival will half the potential earnings out there, just like pests eating away at your crops.
So these people must be regarded as predators who see anyone else as prey, the state as a hindrance that nevertheless can be exploited (social welfare, etc...) and any rival as a pest that must be eradicated.
These people will only engage with anyone with a view to mislead them and exploit them for their own gain.
Criminal convictions are their CV, prison time a holiday (albeit not a very nice one, bit like the nastier package tours) and gaining money and power over others the one and only thing in life that counts.
That poses the question: What can you do with someone who is nothing but a parasite to society, has nothing but their own gain at heart and will never, ever change their ways?
If you take their money they will only get more desperate and ruthless in how they get their money back.

I dont know why this has not been mentioned by any leading political or social figures, but why not bring in internment without trial. 5 to 10 years in a camp with no facilities except the very basic might go a long way to stopping the carnage or at least make it move to some other jurisdiction. This goes for all suspected gang members, no matter what age, sex or criminal convictions! I know all the bleeding hearts will be whinging but they are one of the main reasons our towns are a mess, actually why not lob them into camps with those who they feel so much for, they can have a real heart to heart with em!!!

Almost right!
We should encourage any gangmembers with a grudge to sign up for open warfare to be conducted in a large sports stadium where they will be furnished with any weapons they may desire (maybe not guns, don't want the audience getting hurt).
Tickets will then be sold at €20 each so you can watch scumbags fight to the death for your amusement!
I'll be there like a shot, money would be raised for good causes, innocent bystanders would not only be protected but get to enjoy the bloodbath and the gangster population would be gradually eroded.
It's a win-win situation, who's with me?

Did you ever watch Death Race? That kinda thing leads to more intense blood sports when the crowds start getting bored. It also drives youth to aspire to be a modern day gladiator, and instead of stopping violence gives rise to a whole generation of kids who WANT to participate in such activities, and causing havoc throughout society in the process.
