    Whoever had a claim with O2 phonecover...

    Just to know. Is the phonecover replacing phones with refurbished ones or with brand new?

    Carphonewarehouse shop assistant told me that phonecover replacing phones with refurbished ones, but their insurance company with brand new.

    Is that true?

    last time i claimed from them was about 18 months ago and it was new. don't see why they'd use refurbished phones. maybe o2 daryll can help.

    With insurance it will be a new handset, if the handset goes faulty under warranty, and cant be fixed, they can offer you a replacement which can be a refub. They used to have a SOS policy, where you got a replacement on the spot instore once the handset failed inside the 12 month period, these were often refurbs
