Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
    I recently acquired a Felt F95 as I am getting back on the saddle after a 16 year sabbatical...
    The bike is great but I have a problem with the micro shifters that it came with... the problem being that they are ****e...
    So, is it a big job to upgrade, how much would it cost to upgrade, do I need new derailleurs..?

    shifters are on of the more expensive parts. however it depends on what you want, i had the old f95 which came with shimano 2300 shifter, (but they really cheaped out on the newer version, with the micro shifters, wheels and a few other things). i recntly upgraded to ultegra so have a set of 8 sp 2300 shifter, some skuff marks, but working perfectly, would let them go for 40. also have a few other bits like a tiagra rear mech.

    Edit: forgot to say, there should be no need to upgrade anything else unless you change speed, which is not nessisary. i believe your 8sp atm
