Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm currently shopping around dublin for my first road bike, and have researched the heck out of giant , specialized and trek. Now i was just wondering about the prices on a Trek 1.2. And how much of a mark up there is on in ireland to the us price stated on a website or something?

Thanks for any comments or suggestions , they are all greatly apreciated.

Ireland is more expensive but not so much when it comes to something entry level like a 1.2. The point is somewhat moot as you can't buy Trek online or mail order, only from a shop. It would not be worth buying a 1.2 in person in the US IMO (could be for the higher-end bikes and I know people who have.)

Ah, cool alright thanks. I was just curious because I had seen it cheaper somewhere Trek related online.
Would you say the shops would be up for some haggling, considering I'm just starting out and that?
