<<<NEW RULES ASSIGNMENT #1 SPEED>>>

The rules:
*Photos must be posted within 1 week of the day the task was set – the closing time/date is 10pm tuesday 17th August 2010.
(this is to prevent inactivity in the thread due to other rule changes, also you get the weekend to shoot)


*No old photos. Only photos taken with this task in mind qualify.
Therefore, the photo must be taken after 11pm on the 10th August 2010.

*Photos must be on the given task.( Like everything in life things are open to interpretation, but please adhere to the subject. Although a car can go fast a parked car does not give the impression of speed.)

*ONE photo per poster so think about beofre you post

*One vote per poster so make it count!

*C&C to be encouraged - Be constructive, and helpful.

*Stretch yourself – there is no limitation to what you can do to produce the image.( the more styles, and techniques the better )

*The next task/subject is to be chosen by the person who has the most thanks after their post at the closing date/time(the post must include a photo).

Now i know these are different rules than the other assignment but give it a chance. If you dont like the idea or have any suggestions use the discussion thread.

thats good. i wanted to pick something that may not have been a million miles away from the other assignment so people might be able to enter this one with the same photo.

If it's only 1 vote per person then maybe voting should only happen after the closing date

I suggested 1 vote per person on here months ago and got slaughtered for it

Just shoot something fast in B&W on film and you're laughing on here so.

hehee had intended being more active - but had a big fall in the Ox Mountains in Sligo- ground gave way and I fell 15 feet onto rocks and water.

Broke a good lens - warped my trusty tripod- and lost me glasses- but shure I was able to struggle into Easkey for some Nurofen and the best pint of Guinness ever.

Xrays confirmed that nothing was damaged(but Xays don't measure pride)

That was a close call alright

I just had 2 minutes to spare

That was last night's 7 O clock express train from Sligo to Connolly which was supposed to pass the Station at 9. 38 or so but it was 5 mins late passing at 9.43(you can see the time of the photo on Opanda)

So I raced at SPEED back home(that would have been a good photo ) - got in the door at 9.55-and fumbled to get in onto the site on time. .

I think I pressed the shutter a second too early - that's why you get the far platform in it - so I am going back tonight to try again ( not for the the challenge - but for Myself).
