    Ok, it does give mortgages, but its pretty useless information.

    Here's one from a folio I have here:

    Charge for present and future advances repayable with interest.
    **(Maximum Duty €630 paid)**
    ALLIED IRISH BANKS plc is owner of this charge.
    Certificate of Charge issued.

    Is it possible that's not the full folio ?

    Every folio I've seen has the actual amount of any outstanding mortgages,see the samples here :-

    In any event, I've emailed the PRAI and asked them to confirm that the publicly available folio has the actual mortgage amounts.

    For the people concerned about privacy, do you think car prices should be kept secret?

    What's the problem if people know how much you paid for your car/house?

    Just wondering. (Actually I'm wondering if it isn't one of those countryside, valley of the squinting windows type concerns. :D)

    Maybe its because they will be exposed to anyone that knows them for overpaying for their property? ;)
