Help creating a photo montage video

    Hi All

    I need to create a photo montage video for my friends birthday party, basically I have pictures and some songs collected for a soundtrack and want to create a DVD for her from this.

    Does anybody have any suggestions on where to start and if i should be using some specialist software does anyone know of free software for this?

    Any help much appreciated :-)
